Note |
1.
The CCD cameras are more clearer, sharper and brighter than CMOS
cameras. 2. If you
want to install the camera in the dim or dark place, we recommend you CCD
camera. |

4.What Is EX-View CCD Camera¡H
"EX-View" is a sensitivity-enhancement technology developed by
SONY to improve light sensitivity. Due to the sensitive nature of the
manufacturing process, the yield rate for EX-View CCD chips is relatively low,
limiting delivery quantities of acceptable units. The high cost associated with
the manufacturing process makes the EX-View CCD chip good for specific
applications (ex. scientific; industrial). The devices are rare for use in
conventional surveillance cameras.
5.What Is Wide Dynamic (Dynamic Range) ?
Wide dynamic camera is suitable for shooting
the license plate or installing somewhere back light.
|

|
Camera
with BLC (Back Light Control) function:

 |
Camera
without BLC (Back Light Control) function: Under exposure

6.What Is Smear Rejection Ratio ?
Strong light enter CCD sensor will penetrate the photo
resistance layer and create fag image. These image is called smear. the extend
of a CCD camera can reject strong light is called Smear Rejection Ratio.
Usual camera will create smear, but wide
dynamic camera can reject strong light.

7.What
will affect the brightness of the infrared camera?
(1)
The amount and quality of the IR LED
(2)
CCD sensor quality:
Brightness:
SONY
EX-VIEW CCD sensor > SONY Super HAD CCD sensor >SONY CCD sensor >Panasonic CCD
sensor >Sharp CCD sensor > ¡K¡K
ex.
(3)
Sensor size:
Brightness:
1/2 sensor
size > 1/3 sensor size > 1/4 sensor size
(The bigger the better/The
bigger the more expensive)
(4)
The LUX of the camera:
Brightness:
0.1 LUX > 0.5
LUX > 1 LUX > 3 LUX > 5 LUX
(The smaller
the better/The
smaller the more expensive)
(5)
The Iris of the lens:
Brightness:
F1.2 > F1.4 >
F1.6 >F1.8 > F2.0
> F3.0 > F5.0 > F6.0
(The smaller
the better/The
smaller the more expensive)

Environment:
Brightness:
1. Indoor

2. Camera

scenery (ex. black wall)
Conclusion:
As the above-mentioned pictures, when we test in the dark environment, the
result of the
"STD-SHP036DN"
camera and
"STD-SN039A"
camera are very excellence.
If you use
"STD-SHP036DN"
camera or
"STD-SN039A"
camera to collocate with IR
equipment in the dark place, you can save the money for IR equipment or power
rate very much.
